At Cedar Hill Lutheran we believe there is no one right way to worship. Our Lord told us that the only requirement God cares about worship is that we worship in Spirit and in Truth. Therefore every Sunday you will find four completely different worship styles to choose from — HOLY COMMUNION IS SERVED WEEKLY AT ALL SERVICES.
The 7:45 a.m. service is a service of praise and preaching that gets right down to the old time religion. The music is led by the Barn Again Gang, a Southern Gospel quartet.
The 9:00 a.m. service is a full, traditional, liturgical service with chants, hymns, Gospel and Epistle readings, etc.
The 10:30 a.m. service is a modern-day contemporary service combining both the old and the new. Also features a children's message. The nursery is available during this service.
The Sunday School classes begin their sessions after the children are dismissed from the 10:30 a.m. church service following the children's message. Classes are divided into groups from pre-school through 6th grade.
The 5:00 p.m. service is an upbeat casual service especially geared toward young adults ages 16-25 years old. Music provided by Charis. Service is held outdoors weather permitting
The Daily Morning Prayer Services are held in the church Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 8:20 a.m. and consist of hymns, prayers, and Bible readings.
